Jazz Band

Jazz band is a lively and energetic group of musicians who take on a number of upbeat and modern jazz pieces, most recently including the original Mambo.  The group is run by Miss Cooper who is the Head of Music and helps the students to reach their full potential whilst sharing a relaxed and friendly environment.  Jazz band helps to encompass the fun and experimental side of music and covers a range of different instruments including brass, woodwind, drums, piano, guitar and bass, and vocal.  Most string instruments however are unfortunately not suitable to the music played by this group.

Rehearsals:

• Rehearsals for this group have now ended for this year, but the group will begin rehearsing again at the start of the next school year with a new and exciting piece.
