Junior orchestra is a group of younger students in the school who have not yet reached the level necessary to join the symphony orchestra.  This is conducted by one of the instrumental tutors, Mrs. Bradshaw and is made up of only a small amount of students, approximately 12-15, as most soon progress on to the symphony orchestra.  This group tackles a number of different classical pieces that are suited to their level of playing and have been able to perform at a number of different concerts held by the school at Christmas and Easter.  By being part of this group students can benefit from getting a first had experience at performing on stage whilst having fun and developing their skills at their chosen instrument.


Rehearsals:

    • Rehearsals for this group have now ended for this year, but the group will begin rehearsing again at the start of the next school year.
