Other
There are also a number of other groups that have partnered with the school over a number of years but are independent of it. These are listed below:
- The Trinity Singers – the Trinity Singers are a group similar to that of the Senior Choir here at Churchill, and the choir have partnered with the school in the Spring concerts for a number of years. The group is made of adults from the local areas who want to be part of a classical choir and is run by musician Jeremy Martin.
- The Callish Quartet – The Callish Quartet is a professional string quartet which has partnered with the school for a number of years. The work they have done with the school includes helping GCSE and A level students record their music, performing students’ music at concerts and giving workshops where they demonstrate a number of their works. They have also joined with the chamber orchestra a number of times to develop the performance of the key choral pieces performed by the orchestra and senior choir. - The Wringtones – An adult version of the school’s senior gospel choir, the Wringtones are also conducted by Miss Alison Cooper. Held in Wrington the choir attempts similar and sometimes the same pieces as Youthful Spirit allowing the two choirs to merge on a number of different occasions to perform.
- Liz Glen's Singers– Liz Glen, the singing tutor at Churchill also conducts her own choir made up from the students that she teaches. This group have performed a number of different types of music over the past years including most recently their own version of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody in the school Christmas Concert at the Playhouse theatre.
