Welcome to the Churchill Community Foundation School Music Department.  Here you can access all the information you may need to know about the department.  Churchill Music Department has always been a thriving part of the school community and a basis for the attainment of the school’s performing arts status.  There are a wide range of options available for students who wish to do extra curricular activities (see Groups and Rehearsals) and musical tuition is also available, supported by the North Somerset Music Service who provide many of the tutors.

The staff of the department consists of four key people who run both the teaching and extra activities held in the department.  The team is lead by Miss Alison Cooper supported by Mr Will Davies, Mr Paul Harrison and Mr Andrew Tyrell.  Sound technician, Mr Kevin Brown is also available to help students work with music software and the school recording studio.
The department has a range of facilities that are available to Churchill students including multiple practice rooms, equipment such as pianos, drum sets and timpani, and each classroom has many keyboards on which students can work.  Computers equipped for music production and editing are also widely available and are particularly useful for those students wishing to study A Level Music Tech.
